So I went out last night with Ian and we went to 7-11 to pick up soft drinks(iced tea) and ran into one of the parents from the hockey team he works with and I asked if they were hiring and I talked with her then the manager... and I get to come in for training on April13th...It'll only be part time but work in to more hours eventually. I'm pretty happy I mean I haven't had a job since Feb 12th...
I'm happy and dissappointed at the same time since I need more hours than two days a week but a job is a job when you have none. You know?
I've been enjoying all the pics of Taylor Lautner from the KCA yesterday...apparently Rob was supposed to go but Taylor went instead...hmmm
Also it's almost Ian's mom's birthday so I'm going to get making some crazy rainbow cupcakes for her. I wanted to use my new mini pan but I think I'll make reagular sized ones. Now do I ice them with rainbow colours or just plain white? *shrug* I guess I can decide the day of.
Oh I also have a Girl Guide District Meeting this week so I have a bunch of planning and maybe I'll bring mini muffins to that meeting instead so I get to use the pan. The meeting however is the night before the birthday day so I may have to make the cupcakes a bit ahead and freeze them for a day?
Ian's birthday is this weekend as well and I didn't get him anything...He got me agorgoues custom My little pony and I got him a really great Philadelphia Flyers sock monkey last yr...but I dont' know what to get him this yr. Just something small. I unfortunately have to sell Girl Guide Cookies the same day as Ian's birthday so I guess I'm lucky that I dont' start working again until after Easter.
